We are property consultants
with a vast amount of experience and know how about purchasing property
in Spain.
Costa Connect was created
out of our own experiences of searching for our home on the Costa
Blanca a number of years ago. We know the difficulties of finding
a suitable property, of being confident of dealing with reputable
agents and developers and of avoiding the pitfalls of buying in a
foreign country, not speaking the language and not knowing what paperwork
is required and how to go about getting it.
WHY
USE A PROPERTY CONSULTANT?
As
experienced property consultants we have lots of local knowledge of
the area, of projects in the pipeline and the pros and cons of the
various areas. We are able to give advice or point you in the right
direction for the right advice on a large range of subjects from property,
lawyers, banks and schools to just living in a foreign country.
We can show you properties
that are on the books with several agents and developers, so you are
not tied to what is on offer from a single agency. Our commissions
are paid by the developer or agent out of their commission which in
effect makes our service of no cost to you.
Many people dream of
owning their own property in the sun but are uncertain about how to
go about it with confidence. We are here to inform you and guide you,
giving totally independent and unbiased advice to assist you in realising
that dream.
Our main area is the
North Costa Blanca
from Valencia to Alicante with particular reference to Altea, Calpe,
Moraira, Javea, Denia, Oliva and inland to the Jalon, Orba and Pego
valleys. But we also have many experienced and well connected agents
in other parts of the Costas.
HOW DOES IT WORK
Initial contact with
you will establish what sort of property you are looking for and for
what purpose (holiday home, property with letting potential, permanent
residence or retirement home), the areas you are interested in and
the budget you are working to. You will travel to the area and we
can assist you in finding flights and accommodation. We prepare a
portfolio of properties that will fit your requirements and we arrange
viewings. Should you find a suitable property we can then assist you
with legal representation, mortgage advice, obtaining necessary documents,
NIE etc.
WHY
THE NORTH COSTA BLANCA?
Well
it is the area we chose to make our home, and previous to that a frequent
holiday destination.

The World Health Organisation
rates the climate in the Javea region as being the healthiest in the
world. Hot summers tempered by the breezes wafting down the valleys
off the mountains surrounding the coastal towns. Mild winters, the
coast being protected by these same mountains from cold winds blasting
in from the interior of Spain. It is not unusual to find us walking
off the excesses of Christmas Day along the coastal walk of Denia
in short sleeves.

It is a very beautiful
area where majestic mountains reach out to the coast with orange groves
and pine forests providing a greenness that comes as a pleasant surprise
to visitors new to the area. This is in sharp contrast to many other
sandy and arid Spanish coastal areas.
Travel
connections are good, Javea and Denia being halfway between the international
airports of Velencia and Alicante. The two cities are very different
but equally vibrant and exciting.
For those with children
Javea boasts two English curriculum schools with excellent reputations.

With over 20km of safe,
clean sandy beaches, golf, tennis, horse riding and a whole host of
walks through valleys and mountains, the area is an absolute delight
to both holidaymakers and residents alike.
